The house originally belonged to John C. Champlin, the island’s only physician. Dr. Champlin named the building after a Greek Goddess of health, Hygeia. For the last 15 years, its unique charm, history and island style have provided a safe and unpretentious haven for thousands of visitors, families, artists and writers.

The Hygeia House is Block Island’s largest vacation rental boasting 12 bedrooms and 11.5 bathrooms and is the ideal home for large families, retreats, reunions, and wedding parties. Accommodating up to 30 guest, the house is also staffed for cleaning and support.

This is a great house for a large family or group! With 7 large bedrooms and 4 living levels, there is plenty of space to spread out. The first level has a large eat-in kitchen with all the amenities, a large dining room, three separate living/sitting rooms and a half bath.

There are beautiful New Harbor views from nearly every room in the house! Enjoy the beautiful field of cows right in the front yard - they are a show stopper.

Summer Hill is a beautiful, old, Block Island farmhouse (1885), that was formerly a Bed and Breakfast and is now rented by the week. It is perfect for family reunions, workshops, retreats, or for most larger groups. We also host weddings.

Sleeps 20.

We rent by the week (Monday-Monday) during the summer season (last week of June till Labor Day). The rent is $10,000/week and includes all fees. Before and after the summer season we rent weekends (Friday and Saturday nights) for $3000 and weeknights for $750/nt.

The Beach House, 5 bedroom, sleeps 10.

This location is one of Block Island's best! The views and grounds are incredible. On one side is all of Crescent Beach where you will watch the ferry boats sail back and forth all day long. On the other side of the hill is all of Great Salt Pond, where you will watch hundreds of pleasure boats move about the Pond.
