Michèle LaRue performing Someone Must Wash the Dishes,
Mar 21 @ 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

e are excited to welcome Michèle LaRue performing Someone Must Wash the Dishes, a “side-splitting” anti-suffrage satire written in 1912 by pro-suffragist Marie Jenney Howe, that helped women win the vote!

Many women fought against the vote, but none with more charm, nicer clothes — and less logic — than the speaker in this monologue. “Woman suffrage is the reform against nature,” declares Howe’s unlikely, but irresistibly likeable, heroine.

ALL are welcome!

The beauty of these social distance walks is that you can choose your favorite hour of the day, and, you can participate from where ever you are in the world – everyone is urged to participate. We have all been enjoying learning about what others are seeing at “roughly” the same time.
